Ground chuck au gratin LCHF

This is a good LCHF gratin, LCHF stands for Low Carb High Fat, which is a diet where you limit carbohydrates and eat more fats and protein.

Ground chuck au gratin LCHF


18 ounces ground chuck
1 yellow onion
2 cloves garlic
1 can crushed tomatoes (14 ounces)
1/2 cup water
1 tbsp concentrated veal stock
2 tbsp dried oregano
Salt and pepper
Butter for frying

3/4 cup sour cream
3/4 cup grated mozzarella
3.5 ounces feta cheese
Salt and pepper

7 or 8 cherry tomatoes

Peel and chop the onion, fry it in a frying pan with a little butter until soft, squeeze in the garlic cloves.

Increase the heat, add the ground chuck, and brown it off.

Add the crushed tomatoes, oregano, water and veal stock, let it simmer for about 10 to 15 minutes, and season with salt and pepper.

Mix the sour cream with the grated mozzarella and crumbled feta cheese, and season with salt and pepper.

Pour the ground chuck into the Omnia mold, top it with the cheese cream, and then add the halved tomatoes and a pinch of oregano.

Bake on low heat for about 30 minutes. Allow to cool for a while before serving, and serve with a tasty salad.
