A classic Swedish dish made in your Omnia.
1 small can sprats, with brine (about 4½ oz)
2 brown onions
6 medium boiled potatoes (about 1 pound)
3/4 cup (200 ml) cream
1 Tbs dried breadcrumbs
2 Tbs butter
Peel and slice onions and sauté in a frying pan. Peel the boiled potatoes and slice or julienne.
Grease the Omnia Pan well. Layer potatoes, sprats and onion, starting and ending with potatoes.
Sprinkle over the brine and cream. Sprinkle with breadcrumbs and dot with butter.
Bake on medium heat until golden brown and the potatoes are soft, 25-30 minutes.
Remove from heat, cover with the Omnia lid and let stand for about 10 minutes.
