Toad in a hole

Makes 6 muffins Time: approx. 30 minutes

Ingredients

100 g flour
200 ml milk
1 egg
Pinch of salt
6 small sausages
Oil for greasing the muffin tray

Mix the flour with half of the milk to make a thick batter. Then add the rest of the milk and the egg. Season with salt.

Grease the muffin tray with a little oil and the put it into the Omnia dish.

Add the batter evenly to the muffin tray and top each muffin with a sausage. Close the lid and cook on a medium heat for about 20 minutes or until the muffins have risen and have a little colour.

Serve with salad or eat them like the English and enjoy with gravy and vegetables.
